Are you interested in joining the Pete’s Fresh Market extended family? As a family owned and operated business, we invest in our employees and encourage long lasting careers within our company. Individuals interested in applying for a currently available position are asked to upload a resume and complete the Employment Application form. Applications must be complete in order to be considered. If there is a section of the application that you must leave blank, please enter N/A, for not applicable. Those applicants who meet the skills and requirements for an open position will be contacted for an interview.

How can I apply for a job with Pete’s Fresh Market?
Please submit an application online here. Note that we also require a resume to be uploaded for positions beyond entry level.
 
I’ve uploaded my resume and submitted the online application. What is the next step? Is there a way to check the status of my application?   
We review the applications and select the best candidates for available positions. If a candidate’s qualifications match one of our openings, a Pete’s representative will contact the candidate to set up a first round interview. Applications will be considered active for 60 days. For consideration after 60 days, candidates must resubmit a new application.

I heard that a new store is opening in my neighborhood. Can I apply to the new store before it opens?
Pete’s Fresh Market begins the hiring process for a new store about 3-6 months prior to the grand opening. When the hiring process has begun, Pete’s Fresh Market will post a sign at the new location and advertise through various media outlets to announce job fairs. Do Pete’s Fresh Market employees receive health benefits?
Pete’s Fresh Market does offer health benefits to full time employees after 90 days of employment. Employees are eligible for benefits if they work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Most of our employees work full time.
 
I am attending school and want to know if my hours can be scheduled around my classes?
Most of our positions are full time. Students may be asked to provide a copy of their school/extracurricular schedule. Please indicate your availability on your application to be considered for any available positions.  
 
Do I have to work on weekends?
The grocery business is dynamic, and like many other retailers, Pete’s Fresh Market is busy on weekends and holidays when others are celebrating.  We schedule according to our business needs, and since we are open every day of the year, scheduling employees on weekends and holidays is necessary.
 
What shifts are available?
Pete’s Fresh Market stores are open to the public from 7AM-10PM daily, and work shifts generally vary between the hours of 6AM-11PM. We schedule employees according to our business needs. We do not have any overnight or 3rd shifts available.
